Jae Sung Lee is the Vice President of Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology(UNIST).
After his graduation in Seoul National University School of Chemical and Bio Engineering,
he obtained his masters in chemical engineering in KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) and received PHD in chemical engineering in Stanford University.
Due to his distinguished research in chemical reaction process, he was appointed as one of the founding members and the first professor in school of chemical engineering of POSTECH (Pohang University of Science and Technology) which was established in 1986 in South Korea.
His 27 years of contribution elevated POSTECH as a world class research institute.
Ever since joining the faculty of School of Energy and Chemical Engineering in UNIST from 2013, his research on new regeneration energy has been highly accredited globally.
He has published over 360 academic journals including recent 80 Science Citation Index Journals in the past 3 years and served as a chairman in Korea Society of Photoscience.
